Testimonies
We live in Columbus Ohio now, but when we go back home to Grand Rapids to visit family,
we ALWAYS make it a point to stop in at Russ' to eat.
My husband and I love your food and the memories we have made through the
years while enjoying your food.
Thank you for all your hard work!!
Russ' Northtown:
The service and food was
above expected. The bus boy working that night was very kind and courteous.
Keep up the excellent service.
From a long time Russ' North Muskegon Customer:
I've been going to Russ's since I was a little girl - that's over
30 years now! Russ's is to me like coming home. The food
is always wonderful. The service is always friendly. As
I've grown older and my tastes have matured, I can still say that
Russ's is one of my very favorite restaurants. And a very important
aspect for me is that Russ's is SO affordable but has never compromised
on quality and quantity. We love you!
Grandville customer request:
All your restaurants are great. I live in Allendale and
I have heard many people say that we need a Russ' here in Allendale. We
are in great need of a family restaurant and I am sure you would
do well here. Think about it! Thanks! We
will keep it in mind.
And from Hamilton, Michigan:
I just
wanted to let you know that we patronize your restaurant almost
exclusively. It is important to us that you honor
the Lord's Day by being closed on Sundays. For that reason
we plan to continue eating at Russ' with our family. We
will also encourage our friends to do the same. As you
can see from the survey above we are satisfied with the food
and service nearly every time we visit. Blessings to
You!
From a loyal, faithful Grand Haven customer:
My Grandparents began
taking me out to breakfest when I was four years old, every
Saturday until I was eight. Every time I got the same thing
- 2 Pancakes. They
were amazing. Best pancakes in the world. My grandparents took
me back there a few
weeks ago. I'm now 16 and nothing has changed. I got pancakes
and they are still
amazing. Thank you for the pancakes and the memories.
From a very thankful Cutlerville customer:
It seems to me that a mere "thank
you" doesn't seem to adequately express my
gratitude towards an employee of yours who works at the Russ Restaurant
on South
Division Ave in Cutlerville.
On Labor Day evening, before
leaving the restaurant, I washed and dried my hands in
your rest room. However, on my return trip home, I suddenly discovered
that my
antique diamond ring was missing from my finger. I felt that quite possibly
my ring
may have become lost while washing my hands. After looking throughout
my home for
the ring, I became even more convinced that the ring had slipped from
my finger in
the rest room. I decided to phone the restaurant in hopes of reaching
someone after
closing hours but before trash was removed during daily clean-up. Luckily,
an
employee answered the telephone and said he would look in the rest room
for me.
Unfortunately, he returned to the phone and indicated to me that he
was not able to
locate my ring. He promised he would look further in the morning before
trash
removal. Of course my concern was great, as this ring held great sentimental
value
to me personally. The phone rang the next morning. I was elated to find
out that he
had indeed located my ring while searching through the third bag of
trash. My
prayer was answered!
I am a regular Russ customer.
I now have an extra special feeling about the honesty,
integrity and polite treatment that characterizes your staff.
What a wonderful act of Christian
kindness and caring was shown me by your employee,
who unselfishly went out of his way to make my day a much brighter one!
His
special thoughtfulness was deeply appreciated by me and will never be
forgotten.
From a Muskegon Customer:
Q: Do you ever give out your
recipes? I would love to know how to make your potato
soup. It's the best I've ever tasted.
A: Sorry, but our "homemade
goodness" recipes are confidential but you are welcome to
stop by any restaurant and buy soup in bulk quantities to enjoy at home
or at the
next family or business gathering!
